A new product for the Agro business!
In a cooperation with Hensall Co-Op, the largest Agro private cooperation in Canada, MicrOptik has developed a unique analyzer system which allows the quality determination of beans and pulses during harvesting campaign. A tedious and labor intensive method hence can therefore be replaced by a novel and elegant system.
The system is the state of the art in machine vision sorting machine. Samples are poured in the hopper and the beans are dispersed over a vibration table guided to a controlled free fall where fast cameras can pick the nuances of the color and texture in milliseconds. Unique with this technique is that sophisticated Artificial algorithms are used to carry out the analysis and sorting at the same time. This development opens the door to many other Agro applications.
